Many people send me e-mails and ask me "what’s the easiest way to get started with paid surveys?"

And today I’m going to tell you what I tell them.

You don’t need to buy anything to get started with paid surveys. There’s a lot of advertising out there that’s very enticing to the person who wants to earn a lot of money from doing nothing more than filling out a survey. The people who write this advertising know what to say to push your buttons.

But to get started, all you need is a computer, an internet connection, and an e-mail account.

The first thing I say people should do is head over to Google and search for free paid survey directories. Once you’ve picked a few free paid survey sites to sign up to, you’re probably receive a survey within a month (or less, usually)… assuming you have filled out your profile fully and correctly.

With this first survey you should earn a couple of dollars (it could be less), but more importantly, you’ll be able to see if this is something you really want to invest your time in.

Once you get a feel for how paid surveys work, you will be able to decide if you want to do this regularly. If you enjoy it, and think the rewards are worth the time it takes you… then you may want to find a good paid survey database, or search for more free paid survey sites (just be careful of the scams out there).

It will take time to see a lot of surveys regularly. It will also take some effort. But I’m sure you will think it’s worth it when you have that extra few hundred dollars a month. But it won’t come without effort, okay? Don’t be misled by claims of easy money.
